God Says "Yes" to Me ...

Good Morning - Afternoon - Evening!

Years ago, I put out to the world, I wanted to start a book club, reading sorts of words that impact the way one sees and experiences the world.  It began the most wonderful circle of amazing women.  Our lives are enriched because of the relationships developed and I believe our world is better, one thought, one action, one pause and breath and smile at a time, because of this circle.  It started with the book, Happiness Now, by Robert Holden.  The way we look at life, our thoughts and then our actions began an every Tuesday evening experience, as we read one chapter at a time, living it as best we could throughout the week.  Our vision, challenges, triumphant efforts and affirmations are on-going. (Now meeting twice a month and using summer as our social get-out-and-play time).

The reason I share this?  The new book we're starting, Life is a Verb, by Patti Digh, has a most inspiring poem and I simply have to share it with you!  Life is on-going, until we reach the end - and we all will reach that end, you know.  Until then, we have these incredible moments to live - some joyous, some pain-filled, forgiving and ... all the uncountable emotions that weave our unique life experiences.

Just for a moment, let the following words rest on your shoulders, like a soft cottony blanket and then seep gently into your heart:
