Good Morning - Afternoon - Evening!
Do you have treasures at home or office that inspire you when you look at them? They make you smile and slow you down?
My little while owl sits at my desk at home, and always makes me smile. This little treasure was found at the Franciscan Gift Shop in Little Falls. There is a special nun I enjoy spending time with, a mentor and teacher on my path in life. It's easy to associate God, goodness, light, love and healing ... slowing down, giving thanks ... all wrapped up in the goodness and symbolism of this sweet little thing.

What if you let love ...
Good Morning - Afternoon - Evening!
Tell me, how do you answer this question? I bet you don't need even a minute to ponder to get your answer. Whether it was your head or your heart that filled in the dot. dot. dot. ... ta-da ... there it is!
Love is in the wave of kindness and it's important we take time to be kind, not only to others, but to
ourselves.
This summer, I received a gift from a dear friend, after the passing of my folks. She was shopping with her husband and had tears in her eyes when she came across it. Her husband asked why the tears ... it was a knowing in her heart, the picture, the words, the feelings it invoked ... was to be for me. This is how God works. Nudges, whispers, quickening of the heart - we listen, take action and let God work through us.

The decorating aspect of this, is the icing on the cake,
as I had just gotten the sofa at Habitat's Re-Store that week! God is smiling.

It's Valentine's Day!
Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening to You!
I enjoy any celebration that affirms LOVE! Our world needs it front and center.
Today ... having the heart you have ... you can sprinkle love around - all over the place.
It doesn't have to cost a penny. Look someone in the eye and smile, open a door, say 'HI!'
If you want to spend a few pennies, hmmmm ... how about spending it at a locally owned business?
If you love chocolate ... I'm doing a shameless plug here ... go to Fancy Pants in downtown Brainerd.
I've known Nancy for years and years. Her heart is amazing and her chocolates, well, let's just say,
you won't be disappointed ... a taste of heaven, perhaps! She's on Laurel Street and she's been busy
getting ready for today. What fun!

As I am still new to the techie parts of blogging,
I'm including the words to the letters that you were not able to see on the previous blog.
Let's try this again!
We all find love to be challenging at one time or another - several times within a day, perhaps?
We're not alone on this one.
This note was written by a young child:
" Dear God,
I bet it's very hard
for you to love all of everybody
in the whole world
There are only
4 people in our
family and I
can never do it."

Nan has the right idea, as she shared her thoughts on love with God. Wise Nan. It's ok to admit frustration. It's ok to wonder... "how am I going to do this love thing today?"
